How to tackle the dreaded bloated menopause tummy
Jun 14, 2021Does my Tum look big in this?
Whilst staying healthy on the INSIDE is by far the most important thing to target in our midlife how we look and feel on the outside has a real effect on our confidence.
But tackling the Meno Belly is more than just looking good in a pair of jeans. That build-up of fat around your tummy may be telling you that you are producing too much cortisol due to the many stresses you are putting on, or in, your body.
When we were in our mid 20’s and 30’s a bit of stress meant you lost weight - sadly those days are gone along with the need to do long workouts to try and get the body you used to have.
Luckily our workouts can be just as effective if they are short and sharp.
Introducing some weights and strength training will help with belly fat, as will reducing the sugar in your diet.
Yes, I know it all sounds a bit sedate but trust me, it works!
