Do you know what HIIT stands for?
High.  Intensity.  Interval.  Training.

Sounds scary right?

YES, if you turned up at a 'regular HITT class' - it might be scary. 
You probably would feel like a fish out of water and feel like you might throw up at any minute, because that class ISN'T designed for you!! 

HIIT classes are supposed to get your heart rate up to a level that makes you puff.

But us women in menopause NEED to pay extra attention to doing Cardio exercise to protect our hearts, vital because Oestrogen no longer does that job for us.

Getting out of breath in day to day activities ( assuming you aren't ill or have a breathing problem) is an indication that it is time to think about your fitness. 

GOOD NEWS!
But we don't need to do this type of workout for long - 30 minutes is PLENTY! 

And we don't need to do star jumps or any other movement that makes us feel like we might dribble a bit of wee - there are many ways to skin a cat!

Do I have to join the class live?
No - the class is available on demand so you can do it whenever it works for you.

I have a previous injury - can I still join?
In most cases we are able to work around injuries - so many of our clients have a dodgy knee, shoulder, wrist or back. if you are concerned please pop us an email.

How much space do I need?
Not too much - as long as you can take your arms overhead and out to the sides, you don't need much more than that.

Do I come to the class in person?
No - all our classes are online so no need to leave the safety of your house!

What equipment do I need?
A smile and a couple of tins, water bottle or hand weights if you have them. A Yoga mat or towel to lie on and an old pair of tights or fitness band for week 3.

Do I wear shoes?
Some ladies like to do the class barefoot, personally I tend to wear shoes, it's up to you.

How do I access the classes?

The class is taught using zoom and we have an online class booking system which allows you to register for as many of our online classes as you wish to, in the 6 weeks.
